Research Areas
Acoustic sensors have been developed and researched at ISAT for many years. Recently, new research areas have been added. Among other things, we also focus on microfluidics, analytics, machine learning (AI), electronics development, optical sensing, data analysis, and laser technology. Much of this work involves interactions among these fields or with acoustics. We are always looking for capable students for an internship semester to help advance new topics or deepen existing ones, often in cooperation with industry partners. We offer a wide range of laboratories as well as opportunities in the areas of theory, research, simulation, experimental setup, experiment execution, measurement data analysis, etc.
